Three Easy Techniques to Make Learning Spanish Fun

There is always a right way to learn anything and this applies to Learning Spanish also whatsoever is the level of learning that you are in. Three of the following techniques are proven to be efficient and easy in learning Spanish or even other languages like English.

Foremost of them is to find the Spanish in the English. This works on the basis that relating words makes it easy to remember them. You do this by making a list of Spanish words that we commonly use in English language. They could be food or other common items. Challenge yourself by setting a time limit and see how many words you come up with. And there is no need to worry about the nature of words you use. There is nothing like good or bad. You can play with all kinds of words, from food items (jalapenos, pollo, churros, enchilada, quezo, tortilla) to party items (piƱata, cotillion, sombrero).

Second technique is say it again. It relies on the power of repetition in helping us remember something very well. Keeping this in mind repeat your words again and again whether the lesson asks you to or not. Or create your own repetition drill. Then build simple sentences on the words you remember and use them in daily conversation.

Reviewing your lessons of the day on the same day is a practice that helps in learning Spanish. Reading the lesson 2-3 times imprints it in your memory and by saying the words aloud or using in sentences will reinforce them and they become yours.

Finally, attach the Spanish words to day to day actions. You need not really do the action in the term but visualize them mentally. Use your funny bone here. For example to help you remember the term "besos" which means kisses, picture a green frog with big lips kissing the disgusted princess. Making the images funny after all, makes it easier to remember.
